Rent Help from Indy Gov

Many people have lost work because of Covid-19. If you’re having trouble paying rent, assistance is available from the City of Indianapolis. Up to 3 months of rent could be paid if you financial situation is worse than it was in March now. More info at indyrent.org or by calling (317) 912-1260

Indy Park’s Free Meals for Kids

The Indy Parks food teams and partners are out serving meals Monday-Friday at multiple parks and other sites. If you or anyone you know is in need, visit these sites for meals each day. For more information call 317.327.PARK or visit http://parks.indy.gov

Whether you’re working from home right now or still heading into a building, you may be eligible for incentives by carpooling. https://commuterconnect.us/register-now/

$1 Lyft for Groceries

The Grocery Access Program is really easy right now due to the pandemic expansion program, Feed Indy. Its open to all Marion County residents and there is no registration currently needed.

  1. Download the LYFT app and create a login.

  2. Click the upper left menu on the app.

  3. Select payment tab.

  4. Click Add Lyft Pass

  5. Enter the code FEEDINDY

The code will automatically provide $1 rides (on all rides up to $6) up to 4 per month to or from any SNAP eligible retailer in Marion County.

Be sure to be within the $6 ride area when traveling. Also be aware, a round trip shopping trip will cost you $2 within designated areas. If you travel outside the designated area, you are responsible for any overage charge.
